Wolves Represent Australia at the Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup

Wallsend Touch is absolutely bursting with pride. On Sunday 20 July, Touch Football Australia announced the squads for the Australian Emus heading to the Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup — and the Wolves are well and truly represented.

Six members of our club have been named across four national squads, including two in coaching and management roles. It’s one of the biggest days of national selection we’ve seen as a club, and every one of them has earned it.

Our Wolves in Green and Gold

Harold West — Men’s 30s 🇦🇺

Harold has been named in the Australian Emus Men’s 30s squad, earning his first Australian cap. Marked with an asterisk on the squad sheet — denoting an Australia debut — Harold’s selection is a massive achievement and a reward for years of dedication to the game. The entire Wallsend family is incredibly proud of you, Harold.

Kellie-Jean Johnston — Women’s 40s 🇦🇺

Kellie-Jean Johnston has been selected in the Australian Emus Women’s 40s squad. A Wallsend life member, club legend and one of our longest-serving contributors, Kellie’s selection at international level is a testament to everything she has given to this sport. We couldn’t be prouder.

Claire Spain — Women’s 27s 🇦🇺

Claire Spain has been named in the Australian Emus Women’s 27s squad — making her Australia debut. Claire has been outstanding through the rep season and fully deserves her place in the national setup. Can’t wait to see you pull on the green and gold, Claire.

Jarrad Rotumah — Senior Mixed 🇦🇺

Jarrad Rotumah has been selected in the Australian Emus Senior Mixed squad, also earning his Australia debut. Jarrad’s hard work, skill and commitment have been on show all season and his selection is richly deserved. Massive congratulations, Jarrad.

Coaching & Management

Natalie Little — Head Coach, Women’s 27s

Nat Little has been appointed Head Coach of the Australian Emus Women’s 27s. A Wallsend stalwart and life member, Nat’s journey from player to national head coach is genuinely inspiring. The whole club is behind you, Nat.

Cameron Maxwell — Assistant Coach, Senior Mixed

Cam Maxwell has been named Assistant Coach of the Australian Emus Senior Mixed — his Australia debut in a coaching capacity. Cam’s passion and knowledge of the game are well known at Wallsend and we’re so excited to see him coaching at the highest level.

The Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup

The Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup is one of the premier international touch football events in the region, bringing together national teams from across Asia and the Pacific. The Emus will be competing in October 2026 — we’ll be cheering every single one of you on.
