About the program
Wallsend Touch Football has a proud history of producing high-quality representative referees. Our referee representative program supports and develops officials from park competition level through to state and national tournaments, with Wallsend referees regularly selected to officiate at the highest levels of the game.
Our representative referees are mentored and coached throughout the season by experienced senior officials, building the skills, game sense and confidence needed to perform at the elite level. Representing Wallsend as a referee is one of the most prestigious achievements in our club.
Wallsend referees regularly officiate at regional and city v country representative tournaments across the Hunter and NSW.
Our state-graded referees officiate at NSW Touch state championships, representing our association with pride at the highest state level.
Wallsend has produced referees who have officiated at national championships and Touch World Cup events on the international stage.
All representative referees receive structured coaching and mentoring throughout the season to support their continued growth and progression.
